I last visited Shirley around 1977 in her home in Concord. She was still beautiful and gracious. Shirley was friends with my brother-in-law and sister through little league. At that time she seemed comfortable with her life. I was so shocked and saddened when she took her life just a few months later. What a beautiful woman.....what a tragedy.
