Sharleen grew up across the street from me. We spent many, many hours playing hide and seek and capture the flag. She became very sick in the 5th grade. As it turned out, she had juvenile diabetes; however, she never ever complained about it. I lost track of her after high school and often wondered whatever happened to her. She has special place in my heart.
