Don was one of my first really true friends. Seems we had so much in common, really linking up with his wonderful sense of humor. Don was incredibly kind. I owe him for showing me Lake Tahoe for the first time in my life. We skiied - snow and water - but I could NEVER ski as well as he.
We had super great fun at PHS. When we graduated, I really hoped he would finish that Army gig, and we could pick up where we left off.
But, no. I grieved his loss for a long, long time.
I'll always remember Don, and his family - Fran, her mom (RIP) her sister, Marcia, and her husband, Hank, whom I only met once, I think.
