Lynn Marie Peters passed away September 29, 2013 in her home in Blue Lake, CA surrounded by her family and beloved pets after a short battle with cancer. Lynn was born November 22, 1942 in Redwood City, CA, then moved to Utah and Montana where she raised her family and enjoyed outdoor life, camping, fishing and hunting. She eventually moved back to California and worked for Vacaville Prison before moving to Humboldt County and began working for Fish and Game and eventually made her home in Blue Lake where she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family. She is preceded in death by her son Sean McDonough, who passed away in 2006. She ls survived by her mother, Carol Peters of McKinleyvilie, CA, her daughters, Kerry Kobley of Soquel, and Jennifer McDonough of Eureka, her brothers., Tom Peters of Eureka, Jim Peters of Clarkston, WA, and Chris Peters of Arcata, CA, grandchildren Carlyn and Rayna Kobley of Soquel, and Garret Hadley and Nolan White of Eureka, and her great-grandchildren Ziah Kobley of Soquel, and Gabriel White of Eureka. May she rest in peace and know she is loved.
