Children: Bill and I have 8 grandchildren...the greatest joy of our lives!!! We have 3 children...2 married..unfortunately More…1 just divorced..and he's the one with 6 kids!!

Since last coming to a reunion our lives have been filled with our work in Kenya...such a life changing work. We have 18 girls we have housing for, schooling, and loving for..all young women..the most vulnerable in Kenyan society...ages 13-23..2 of our girls are now in college in Texas..both aiming to be nurses..we are SO proud of them. They are THE MOST positive women we know. We are fortunate to go visit them..and work for them..once a year. I met them all when I worked in a medical clinic for 2 years (only 2 weeks long..but we saw 1200 patients in that time frame) the poorest of the poor. Diseases I only had read about in nursing school...
Nothing has touched our lives so deeply. I'm happy to share all this..just ask...sure a far cry from my life in Bellevue...or on Shaw Island..or in Arizona...but this part has TRUE PURPOSE!!!
School Story:

As my grandchildren are getting older, I am recalling allot more moments that molded my life..and I must say, I was MOST fortunate to have as many good friends as I did...and you all helped me to grow...and believe in myself..and not settle for a "small" me..but to spread my wings and FLY!! Sweet girlfriends..we all struggled together..and the boys that I was close friends with were very important...I have GOOD memories of being respected and cherished..and for that I say "thank you"...and I pray this will be the case for ALL my grandchildren...Sky's the limit when we love one another...Looking SO forward to this reunion!!!
