I must say I am so happy to be part of all this..I actually did graduate from Miramonte but my heart was back at Piedmont High School..Miramonte I suppose was good academically but it was brand new with no traditions...no names on plaques in those old hallways and no traditions or clubs and you couldn't walk anywhere..So though brief I really remember much more about my Piedmont days...and I will be glad to see all of you in Oct.

I remember getting dressed for all those dances at someone's house and double dating nearly every weekend to a great dance some place...not until I was a parent of teenagers did I quite get the roll all these parents played...imagine having 8 girls all using the showers and phones and roaming around the house and all being totally just unaware of you...I remember linking arms around the shoulders and singing something like "Hooray for Mr. Touchdown..we're going to beat 'em today..so give a great big cheer for the hero of the year Mr. Touch down USA!" Or something like that...walking with a unison step right down the middle of the road..
